Privacy

Top Grill is a UK desi pub directory. For questions about your information, contact desipubhub@gmail.com.

Email registration and marketing

If you register for Top Grill emails, we store your name, email address, chosen regions and age group in our website database. You can choose “Prefer not to say” for age. Registration is for people aged 18 or over. We use these details, with your consent, to send and tailor Top Grill updates about Desi pubs, venues, offers and events, including paid venue promotions. We do not give your subscriber details to venues for their own marketing.

We record the date and time you consent, the exact consent wording, its version and the website signup source. Signup alone does not verify ownership of an email address. We send a confirmation link and only activate marketing subscriptions after you explicitly confirm. We store a hash of the single-use confirmation token, its expiry and confirmation time; links expire after 24 hours. Existing unverified registrations remain pending. We keep your subscription while your consent remains current and review unused records periodically. If you withdraw consent, we stop marketing to you and retain only the information needed to respect your opt-out and demonstrate consent history. Contact desipubhub@gmail.com to unsubscribe, update your details or exercise your data rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Confirmation emails use Resend when the email service is configured. Resend processes your email address and confirmation message to deliver that email; our signup form remains unavailable until sending is configured. See Resend’s Privacy Policy.

Registration includes a hidden anti-spam field and temporary rate-limiting records derived from a hashed network address and a 15-minute time window. These are used only to prevent signup abuse; expired rate-limit records are removed when subsequent valid signup requests are processed. Registered-user records are available only to the directory owner.

Location searches

Your location is requested only when you choose Current location and allow access. Coordinates are sent to our website to calculate nearby venues. We do not save your location or postcode in the venue database. Postcode searches use Postcodes.io to find the postcode’s location.

Enquiries

The listing enquiry form sends your name, venue, email, telephone and message through FormSubmit to desipubhub@gmail.com so we can respond. Avoid including sensitive personal information. FormSubmit processes submissions under its own privacy policy.
